Fundraise for Changing Faces Channel Islands

We would love to hear from individual supporters, schools, community groups and associations who wish to organise a local fundraising event or activity for Changing Faces Channel Islands. Please look at our fund-raising link

Individuals, Groups, Clubs and Associations

You could organise anything from a golf day or party to a summer fete. If you're new to fundraising, you could start by organising a collection for Changing Faces Channel Islands. It doesn't even have to be an actual event or activity. Do you have a big birthday or anniversary celebration coming up? You could ask your family and friends to donate to Changing Faces instead of giving you presents.

We hope to have a fundraising pack soon : when it's available, further details will appear on this website. We also hope to have promotional material available soon.

If you need some advice or want to run through some ideas please e-mail us. We can give guidance on the financial side of things, keeping records, budgeting and paying in your donations. We'll be happy to advertise your event on this website.

Please send us any photos and information from your event as we plan to feature fundraising events on this website to thank you and inspire other people to fundraise for the charity.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Schools

Changing Faces Channel Islands intends to work with teachers, pupils and their families to enable school to be a positive experience for a child who has a disfigurement.

Fundraising for Changing Faces is an ideal way to get young people supporting each other through having fun and learning about difference and inclusion.

You could choose to make us your Charity of the Year or start by holding an easy-to-organise event.

If you're a teacher and you are already using a teachers' pack from Changing Faces in your art, PHSE or Citizenship lessons, getting your pupils to organise a fundraising event means you can put the theory into practice. If you're a teacher who wants a teacher's pack, please contact us.

'Face'

Benjamin Zephaniah's book, "Face" makes a frequent appearance in English classes. Benjamin dedicated the book to Changing Faces "a great bunch of dudes". Why not get your English class to organise a fundraising event based around the themes or the plot? You could hold a disco, a book review evening, a competition or even an after-school debate which other classes could pay a £1 to enter.

We look forward to hearing from you and your school.

Universities and Colleges

If you are studying at college or university, please put forward Changing Faces Channel Islands as your Charity of the Year or as a beneficiary of your Rag Week activities. Rag Weeks make a major contribution to charities, so please remember us.
